Group of Scientific Information Repositories, coordinated by Antonio Fernández Porcel of Granada University, has produced a set of guidelines for the creation of institutional repositories. The Guidelines for the Creation of Institutional Repositories at Universities and Higher Education Institutions is a useful and important document both in its overview of the process and importance of institutional repositories.
